The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser easily evokes emotion and excites the senses ... literally, all five of them. It simply takes one initial glance to see that this rugged full-size SUV is ... well, just cool. After a brief hiatus from the U.S. market after the 2021 model year due to shifting consumer preferences, the Land Cruiser is now making a comeback for the 2025 model year fueled by growing automotive nostalgia and strong demand from off-road enthusiasts. The Godfather of Toyota's remarkable off-road heritage first made its mark in the United States in 1958 and now returns as an exceptionally capable off-roader packed with premium features at a more accessible price point than its predecessor. From the sight of its head-turning style to the feel of the road beneath, the reintroduction of this iconic SUV combines impressive technology and cutting-edge driving aids to deliver an immersive experience that caters to adventure seekers with an insatiable taste for untamed adventure.
Easy on the Eyes
Trail-tested and ready for the next adventure, the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser comes in two grades comprised of the 1958 and Land Cruiser which both offer modern features while staying true to the vehicle's classic roots. The 1958 grade, inspired by the model's 1958 North American debut, offers a starting MSRP of $56,450. It blends retro touches like round LED headlamps, a TOYOTA
heritage grille, and heated fabric seats with modern amenities such as a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, automatic climate control, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®. Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the standard locking center and rear differentials, full-time four-wheel drive, CRAWL Control, and a 2400W AC inverter. New for 2025 are integrated liftgate lights for enhanced cargo area visibility. The Land Cruiser grade builds on this with added refinement and convenience, featuring rectangular LED headlamps, power-heated SofTex®-trimmed front seats, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Trail-ready enhancements include Rigid® color-selectable LED fog lights, Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism, Multi-Terrain Select, and Multi-Terrain Monitor systems. For even more luxury, the Premium Package offers leather-trimmed seats, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, a digital rearview mirror, and a power moonroof. The 2025 Land Cruiser is available in seven exterior colors, including Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, and Heritage Blue, with attactively-sporty two-tone options like Trail Dust and Heritage Blue featuring a Grayscape roof.

Designed with its rugged heritage in mind, all Land Cruisers come exclusively equipped with powerful 326 horsepower turbocharged i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain mated to a full-time four-wheel drive system as well as center and rear locking differentials as standard across all grades. This setup maximizes traction, reducing wheel spin and enhancing stability on challenging trails. The electronic locking rear differential ensures that the rear wheels receive an equal 50/50 power split to provide help tackling even the toughest surfaces with ease. Adding to the Land Cruiser's off-road prowess is the innovative front stabilizer bar disconnect mechanism (SDM), which, at the push of a button, increases suspension flex for better tire articulation. This allows the Land Cruiser's front tires to maintain contact with the ground on uneven terrain. Paired with Multi-Terrain Select, which offers customizable settings for a variety of surfaces like mud, dirt, and sand, the Land Cruiser is equipped to handle diverse conditions with confidence. For technical trails and challenging descents, the Land Cruiser is ready with features like CRAWL Control, a low-speed off-road cruise control system, and Downhill Assist Control, which helps maintain a controlled speed on steep descents. The addition of Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential (Auto LSD) further enhances traction and stability, while the available Multi-Terrain Monitor (MTM) system provides real-time visuals of surrounding terrain whish is ideal for navigating tight obstacle-laden trails.

Providing a refined touch to rugged character, the thoughtfully crafted interior of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser blends robust durability with premium features to achieve a well-balanced fusion of comfort, functionality, and style. The cabin is outfitted with available plush, power-heated and ventilated front seats, as well as reclining rear seats; and for added warmth on chilly adventures, the standard Cold Weather Package warms the front seats, steering wheel, and side mirrors for enhanced comfort in any environment. Premium leather-trimmed seating is available, and the spacious 60/40 split rear seat offers flexible storage options for gear and equipment. The available Qi Wireless Charging and USB-C charging ports keep devices powered up without the hassle of cables for continued connection on or off the road.
