2025 Toyota Camry Offers Luxury Looks at a Practical Price

Combining cutting-edge hybrid performance with eye-catching modern design, Camry continues to raise the bar for midsize sedans.

Whether you call it a spoiler alert or simply an informational disclaimer, it's important to note that I've been a fan of the Toyota Camry ever since I first laid eyes on the radically redesigned model that debuted in 2018. I'm certainly not alone in my appreciation of this popular family car either, as it's still evoking emotion for the latest generation of potential buyers. With contemporary athletic styling on the outside and a host of high-tech amenities available on the inside, the Camry has been a long-time proven contender within the midsized car segment of the ever-competitive automotive industry. After dominating the best-selling sedan category in the United States for over two decades, the model now continues to build on its previous success by entering its ninth generation with newly refined performance along with a consistently improved elevated design.

Now offered exclusively as a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) only, the current Camry lineup is powered by Toyota's market-leading fifth-generation hybrid system paired with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine. This cutting-edge first-ever sedan pairing delivers 225 horsepower in its front-wheel-drive models and up to 232 horsepower with available all-wheel-drive configurations. This year's Camry also marks the first time that Toyota's electronic on-demand all-wheel drive system will be offered across all trims, providing enhanced traction and control when needed in situations like navigating through corners or maneuvering hazardous road conditions that occur due to inclement weather. With an impressive fuel economy rating, including a manufacturer-estimated 51 mpg on the LE FWD, the vehicle's performance efficiency cannot be overstated. The newest Camry will also adopt the Beyond Zero badge as an eco-conscious expression of the fact that Toyota now offers more low and zero emission vehicles combined than any other automaker.

Thanks to the designers of CALTY's Newport Beach, California and Ann Arbor, Michigan studios, the Camry is now delivered with a sleeker silhouette, more athletic appearance, and distinctive hammerhead front fascia as well as slim LED headlights, daytime running lights, and taillights. The open-concept interior design showcases refined materials and is equipped with a push button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and rear air vents. Not only have adjustments been made to the seat cushion shape, density, and length, but the headrest has been softened and moved rearward for improved ergonomics. For an even quieter cabin, the XLE and XSE grades feature front-side acoustic laminated glass to reduce wind noise. Connectivity is also a key feature, with Toyota Audio Multimedia allowing for dual Bluetooth® phone connections and a Wi-Fi Connect trial providing 4G connectivity for up to five devices. With the available Drive Connect subscription, drivers can utilize voice-activated commands via the Intelligent Assistant by simply saying Hey Toyota for functions such as adjusting audio, climate controls, and navigation. The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in four distinct grades comprised of the LE, SE, XLE, and XSE, each with its own set of premium features that cater to various driving preferences.

  • LE

The LE, starting at a base MSRP of $28,400, serves as the entry-level trim, but it doesn't skimp on modern amenities. It comes equipped with 16-inch 10-spoke silver-painted alloy wheels, an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen with six speakers, and wireless compatibility for both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. For added convenience, the LE offers dual-zone automatic climate control, a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging system, and advanced safety features like Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0 and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.

  • SE

For a sportier experience, the SE trim, priced at $30,700, builds on the LE's offerings by adding 18-inch multi-spoke black-finished alloy wheels and a more aggressive black sport mesh front grille with racing-inspired design elements like air curtains and side canards. The SE also includes sport SofTex-trimmed front seats and a sport-tuned suspension for a more dynamic driving feel, while maintaining key features like wireless smartphone integration and Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0.

  • XLE

For those seeking a more luxurious ride, the XLE trim starts at $33,400 and features 18-inch two-tone machined- and black-finished alloy wheels. This trim upgrades the multimedia experience with an available 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen paired with a 9-speaker JBL® Premium Audio system. Inside, the XLE offers a refined leather- and microfiber-trimmed interior with multi-stage heated front seats and a digital gauge cluster with selectable gauges. It also features dual LED projector headlights, premium LED taillights, and a sophisticated dark gray metallic front grille.

  • XSE

At the top of the range is the XSE, priced at $34,600 before an add-on package. This trim delivers a bold aesthetic with 19-inch smoked gray and black-finished alloy wheels, a sport mesh front grille, color-keyed side canards, and a rear diffuser. The XSE also offers a two-tone Midnight Black Metallic roof for a striking appearance. Inside, the XSE comes with a leather-trimmed interior, multi-stage heated front seats, and the option for ventilated seats. Like the XLE, it features the 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system with the available 9-speaker JBL® Premium Audio system and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The XSE perfectly balances luxury and sportiness, making it ideal for drivers seeking both style and performance.

The 2025 Toyota Camry comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 3.0, a comprehensive suite of advanced safety features designed to provide enhanced protection for drivers and passengers. These features are developed with the intention to provide a high level of safety and peace of mind for every journey. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) detects potential collisions and automatically applies the brakes if the driver doesn't respond. Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) maintains a set distance from the car ahead, adjusting speed as needed. Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) warns of lane drifting and gently steers the car back if no corrective action is taken. Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) helps keep the car centered in its lane while using Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Road Sign Assist (RSA) detects road signs and displays them on the Multi-Information Display. Automatic High Beams (AHB) switch between high and low beams depending on traffic conditions. Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) provides gentle braking or steering to maintain safe distances and navigate curves.

Combining cutting-edge hybrid performance with an eye-catching modern design, the 2025 Toyota Camry continues to raise the bar for midsize sedans. The wide range of trims, each with its own unique flair, caters to a variety of driving preferences from the practical and efficient LE to the sporty and luxurious XSE with its striking two-tone roof. By offering enhanced comfort and smart technology including top-tier protection, Camry ensures a connected and enjoyable driving experience. Add to that its impressive fuel efficiency along with athletic handling, and this latest iteration Camry reaffirms why it's a leader in its class.

Starting production of the new Camry is another proof point that Toyota is committed to providing secure employment and has been for nearly four decades. We continue to stay true to that promise by reinvesting profits in this plant and preparing our team members for future production opportunities, including a variety of electrified vehicles.
