Barrett-Jackson Returns to Texas for Annual Houston Auction

Barrett-Jackson, The World's Greatest Collector Car Auctions, is returning to Texas for its annual Houston Auction at NRG Center, October 20-22, 2022. This year's annual event in The Lone Star State will feature an eclectic mix of supercars, muscle cars, Resto-Mods, customs, classics and late-model collectible vehicles. An immersive automotive lifestyle experience, the event will also feature interactive sponsor and exhibitor displays, Hot Laps and Thrill Rides with leading automotive manufacturers, and an Opening Night Party for Tier 1 bidders, consignors and VIPs featuring live music from the Emerald City Band.

his year's Houston Auction will be the perfect bookend to a year of record-setting events, said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. We kicked off the year with the most successful auction in our 50-year history in Scottsdale and continued to host record-breaking events throughout 2022 in Palm Beach and Las Vegas. Houston will continue our tradition of showcasing a diverse docket with collectible vehicles for young enthusiasts and seasoned collectors alike.

Among the most anticipated vehicles set to cross the auction block is a 2019 Ford GT (Lot #749) finished in Liquid Grey with Ingot Silver stripes. Selling with No Reserve, this GT is Chassis No. 162 and boasts over $66K in factory options, including the Equipment Group 200A, the exterior gloss carbon fiber package, 20-inch gloss black forged wheels and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Powered by its mid-mounted 647hp 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, this supercar has only 551 actual miles and comes with original items such as its Window Sticker, factory battery charger and factory blue car cover with the chassis number printed on it.

Also set to cross the block is an incredible Silver Blue 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (Lot #737) Resto-Mod built by Jeff Hayes Customs. This build is powered by its LS3 engine backed by a 4L70E automatic transmission. It features Vintage Air heat and air conditioning, a Bluetooth stereo, power windows, power steering and a power hood while riding on its Art Morrison sport chassis with custom Schott wheels and custom whitewall tires.

Last year's inaugural event in Houston was an incredible success and we've been looking forward to getting back to The Lone Star State, said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. Not only will you be able to find the perfect collectible vehicle for your garage with our No Reserve auction, but you'll immerse yourself in the ultimate automotive lifestyle experience throughout NRG Center. I look forward to getting back to Houston and celebrating this beloved hobby with our friends and family in Texas.

In addition to the approximately 500 collector cars that will be on display at NRG Center and cross the auction block with No Reserve, Barrett-Jackson's Houston Auction will feature something for everyone. A true automotive lifestyle event, Barrett-Jackson will also play host to dozens of sponsors showcasing the latest in automotive technology, interactive displays and more, while a vast Exhibitor Marketplace will offer a wide variety of luxury goods and services. Guests will also have the opportunity to ride alongside a professional driver on the Barrett-Jackson Performance Track with Chevrolet, Dodge, Toyota and, for the first time in Barrett-Jackson's history, Cadillac, who will also be providing Hot Laps in their high-performance Blackwings. Additionally, on Saturday, October 22, one lucky fan will be crowned the winner of the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Fantasy Bid presented by Dodge and will take home their brand new 2022 Dodge Challenger as the grand prize.
