Among the initial roster of signees are two-time Olympic gold medalist and five-time WNBA All-Star Angel McCoughtry, former South Carolina standouts Tiffany Mitchell (Minnesota Lynx), Zia Cooke (Los Angeles Sparks) and Laeticia Amihere (Atlanta Dream), and recent top WNBA draft picks Queen Egbo (Washington Mystics) and Maddy Siegrist (Dallas Wings), who will all compete in AU Pro Basketball for the first time.

In addition, a number of top players are returning to Athletes Unlimited, including Sydney Colson and Kierstan Bell, members of the 2023 WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, Lexie Brown (Los Angeles Sparks), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream, and another former South Carolina standout), Kelsey Mitchell (Indiana Fever) and Odyssey Sims (Dallas Wings).

Like its other leagues, AU Pro Basketball features a range of scoring innovations to bring athletes and fans a unique and intense version of the sport. In addition, teams change each week, with the top four athletes in the standings serving as captains and drafting their teams. At the end of the four-week season, the player with the most points is crowned as individual champion.

Partners for the 2024 AU Pro Basketball season include Air National Guard/Air Force, Baden, Gatorade, Nike, Madam Paleta, EY, SuperQuickQuestion, syd and Curastory.

We are thrilled to tip off season three of Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball with such an exciting roster featuring elite talent from across the women's basketball landscape, and to be back in Dallas, a hotbed of basketball talent and culture, said Megan Perry, Director of Basketball for Athletes Unlimited. Fans will be treated to an exciting brand of basketball as these athletes compete to be crowned the champion.

I'm super excited to be part of season three. Taking on the role of chairperson of the Player Executive Committee has been a really fun experience for me so far and will continue to prepare me for my future goals in front office work, said Brown, who chairs the AU Pro Basketball Player Executive Committee. AU Pro Basketball will be the first time I've been on the court since July and I can't wait to compete with and against the amazing players we have on the roster. I can't say enough how grateful I am to have an opportunity to play in the off-season domestically.

As the newest member of the AU family, I am beyond excited to start this journey. Basketball has always been a passion that drives me. My focus is clear: I just want to hoop again, to be on the court where I feel most alive. I can't wait to show the world what I got, McCoughtry said.

The Dallas Wings welcome Athletes Unlimited back to North Texas for a second season of women's professional basketball at Fair Park, Dallas Wings President and CEO Greg Bibb stated. We are excited to support our Wings players who will be participating and look forward to watching the competition as it takes place in early 2024.
