Greenville Avenue Pizza Company delights its faithful customers with excellent pizza, fun specials and cold drinks, but its commitment to the community extends beyond feeding its neighbors. The restaurant partakes in numerous charitable initiatives throughout the year, including its annual Slices for Supplies, which is back for another round.
On August 22, GAPCo is collecting supplies and raising funds for three local elementary schools—two in DISD and one in Richardson. Please bring new packages of pencils, pens, notebooks, folders or other helpful school supplies to any of GAPCo's three restaurant locations on August 22. Monetary donations will also be accepted. In exchange for this generosity, participants will receive one FREE slice of pizza with one topping of their choice
Donations will be accepted between 5-8pm, when you're going to need some dinner anyway. So, bring supplies to your nearest GAPCo, eat some pizza, grab some drinks, and feel good about how you spent your evening.
All donations and supplies will benefit schools in lower socioeconomic brackets, in which many children enrolled don't have the basic supplies they need to succeed. Your generous donations can make a significant impact on improving their ability to learn and thrive. GAPCo Lowest Greenville is accepting donations for Geneva Heights Elementary (DISD). GAPCo Peavy Road is working with Martha Turner Reilly Elementary (DISD). And GAPCo Richardson has partnered with Carolyn Bukhair Elementary (RISD).
We hope to see lots of familiar faces and plenty of new ones on August 22. Slices for Supplies is a great opportunity to eat some pizza, but more importantly, it lets us help the schools in our communities. Come on by with school supplies, and the friendly GAPCo staff will be waiting for you, ready to dole out pizza.
