The Chosen, the insanely popular streaming TV show about the adult life of Jesus told through the people who knew him, has now been viewed over 404 million times worldwide. The Feeding of the 5,000 scene will be part of Season 3 which is currently being filmed; and over 5,000 extras all in first-century clothing will gather on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, for a field festival including live musical performances by Micah Tyler, Shane & Shane, Big Daddy Weave, and more. The Chosen has recently moved their headquarters to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and the production team is building a huge set including a state-of-the-art sound stage that other filmmakers will be able to use in Midlothian, Texas.
