All-New Viking and Ale Weekend at Scarborough Renaissance Festival

It's the all-new Viking and Ale Weekend April 23rd & 24th at Scarborough Renaissance Festival! Vikings and other barbarians are invited to join in the fun by competing in the costume contests for both adults and children each day. Visitors can register at the Exit Gate by 1:30 pm each day to participate. Contests take place at the Crown Meadow Stage at 2:00 pm.

The signature event of the Viking & Ale Weekend is The Royal Ale Festival; a tasting experience exploring eight beer & ale varieties paired with lively entertainment and light snacks. Two tasting times are available each day at 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm and you must be 21 or older to participate. Tickets are $15 each (in addition to Festival admission) at www.SRFestival.com or at the event each day based on availability.

There will also be a Stein Holding Competition. See if you have what it takes to hold a beer stein longer than the rest to win your very own souvenir Scarborough Renaissance Festival stein! Guests can get all the details and register at the Exit Gate by 3:00 pm each day. Contests take place at the Royal Pavilion at 4:00 pm.
