Since 1976, Southern Rock pioneers 38 Special have brought their explosive style to fans across the globe. After four decades and more than fifteen studio albums, 38 Special will rock the house at the iconic Statler Ballroom on Friday, June 3. With signature hits like Hold On Loosely,
Rockin' Into the Night,
and Second Chance,
the music of 38 Special is timeless. The bands hits are a staple of radio to this day and are recognizable from the opening chord. Guitarist/vocalist Don Barnes shares the band's commitment to creating an amazing live experience even today for their fans.
The magic's still there,
says Barnes. It's an emotional high for us to keep 'bringing it' after all these years. When those lights go down and we all walk up those steps to the stage and hear that crowd roar, it's a real rush to the head. It feels like we're getting ready to strap ourselves in and it just takes off from there.
Now through March 27, tickets for the power-packed show start at just $89 for early general admission and $119 for early VIP, which gives preferred standing location on the floor. While the ballroom doors open at 7 p.m. in advance of the 8 p.m. show, guest might want to arrive earlier. With proof of a ticket purchase, guests can get a free appetizer at either Scout or Primo's MX Kitchen & Lounge that night with the purchase of an entrée.
