Interior Designers and Artists Unite for 2020 Thrift Studio Benefiting Dwell with Dignity

Dwell with Dignity announces the exciting details of its popular annual fundraiser, Thrift Studio, a pop-up shop of luxury home furnishings and original artwork by local artists. The home décor items and artwork, impeccably displayed in vignettes created by nine prestigious interior designers, will be available to purchase at dramatic discounts with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Dwell with Dignity's mission to transform lives through design for those struggling with homelessness and poverty. This year, Shay Geyer of IBB Design (in photo) serves as the 2020 Thrift Studio Honorary Chair, and ALG Collective's four artists—Anna Curnes, Melissa Ellis, Annie Griffeth, and Christi Meril—serve as art co-chairs.

The 2020 Thrift Studio, benefiting Dwell with Dignity, will be held April 2 to May 2 at The International at Turtle Creek located at 150 Turtle Creek Blvd., Suite 209 A, Dallas, TX 75207. The pop-up store will be open Monday through Saturday, 10am-5pm, and is free to enter. A series of parties will celebrate the upcoming shopping fundraiser. Further information and tickets to the highly-anticipated Preview Opening Party can be found at www.thriftstudio.com or by calling (214) 599-7974.

Geyer, award-winning owner of IBB Design and founder of The Shay Geyer Fabric Collection, says, Dwell with Dignity holds a place near and dear to my heart. It is life changing for me to be able to help transform a life through design, to provide a place where someone is proud to live, to feel safe, to be able to thrive, to call home. It's an honor to serve as chair for Dwell with Dignity's largest fundraiser.

Thrift Studio is a very important event for Dwell with Dignity, raising approximately 40 percent of our annual funding, explained Dwell with Dignity Executive Director Ashley Agnew. To date, we have helped over 180 families transform their lives through design. This transformation sets the stage for breaking the cycle of poverty and helps set up future generations for success. We are thankful to have Shay, ALG Collective, and all of the participants, volunteers, and donors support our cause.
