Texas Media Production Alliance Continues to Help Secure Film Incentives in Texas

TXMPA is looking to connect with filmmakers and film industry professionals while they're in town for the SXSW.

Texas Media Production Alliance Continues to Help Secure Film Incentives in Texas

The Texas Media Production Alliance (TXMPA) has been a consistent industry advocate for increased creative media production incentives in Texas since 2006. Under the guidance of Executive Director Paul Jensen, the organization was integral to securing the recent increase in funds for the Texas Moving Image Industry Incentive Program, which went from $45 million to $200 million with their concerted effort. Production companies are moving in and projects like Lawmen: Bass Reeves, The Chosen, and Netflix's original series, MO, are all filming in Texas to take advantage of the heightened incentives. TXMPA wants to help local and out-of-state filmmakers and film industry professionals understand the immense benefits of creating in Texas and support those who wish to tell Texas stories. For those professionals coming to Austin for the SXSW Film & TV Festival, March 8 - 16, interested in speaking with the team at TXMPA to learn more about how you can take advantage of the new creative media production incentives, you can reach out by email or sign up to become a member.
