Texas Performing Arts welcomes comedian Ali Wong to Bass Concert Hall on her all-new live stand-up tour for one night only on Saturday, November 11 at 7 p.m. Comedian, writer, actress, and director, Wong is known for her comedy specials Baby Cobra, Hard Knock Wife, and Emmy-nominated Don Wong, and her film work as co-writer and star of Always Be My Maybe and director of Sheng Wang's Sweet and Juicy. Her most recent project, the critically acclaimed new series Beef, was released April 2023 on Netflix.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, August 4 at 10 a.m. at texasperformingarts.org. Texas Inner Circle members can access pre-sale tickets starting Wednesday, August 2 at 10 a.m.

Beef was the #1 show streamed on Netflix upon its release. In April, Wong embarked on her 2023 cross-country stand-up tour. She is also currently producing Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld for Netflix, in which she stars opposite Lucy Liu. The animated action series follows a Chinese-American teenager who discovers she has supernatural powers after being hunted by forces from the underworld.
In 2019, Wong co-wrote and starred in Always Be My Maybe, alongside Randall Park. The romantic comedy was released in May 2019, and follows a famous chef and her hometown ex-boyfriend as their rekindled flame struggles to adapt to each other's worlds. She also executive produced and voiced the lead in the offbeat and zany animated sitcom Tuca and Bertie, and directed Sheng Wang's 2022 comedy special Sweet and Juicy. Wong's other film and television highlights include Netflix's Big Mouth, Human Resources, ABC's Fresh off the Boat, Birds of Prey, Walt Disney Studios' Ralph Breaks the Internet, and the Pixar animated film Onward. In 2019, Wong released her New York Times-bestselling autobiographical book, Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets & Advice for Living Your Best Life. The book features heartfelt and hilarious letters addressed to her daughters' future selves.
