Spider Mountain, home to the nation's only year-round, lift-served mountain bike park, is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with some special events March 13-14, 2021. The resort is offering FREE scenic chairlift rides all weekend long as a thank you to the community for all their support. The weekend will also celebrate the opening of Spider Mountain's Skill Park, dubbed Creepy Crawly. A skills park is an area where riders can practice on small jumps, berms, and small bridges to get comfortable before graduating to bigger features. The park had originally planned to celebrate February 13-14, but had to cancel due to ice and cold weather.
