Have a hankerin' to sail the open seas?
Well, if it’s a bit impractical to make it all the way over to “a port on a western bay” just yet, then you can still Sail with Scott and his team of captains as they navigate the waters of Lake Ray Hubbard each day of the week.
Formerly a Mayor of Rockwall a Rockwall County Commissioner, Scott Self is an experienced sailor who has held a US Coast Guard Master Captain’s license since 2007, has won numerous races at sea, and has even sailed across the Atlantic Ocean twice in a 44 foot sailboat! Now, as the owner of Sail with Scott, he offers group, shared, and private sailing charters aboard the 40' catamaran Seawolf or the 57' enclosed Harbor Lights.
Seawolf
This beautiful 40'x25’ Seawolf is a full-size sailing catamaran custom-built from Spanish cedar which seats about 49 people. Feel free to sit back while enjoying a sunset cruise, lay on the foredeck in the late afternoon sun, or even pitch in and help set the sails.
Harbor Lights
The enclosed Harbor Lights is a 57' powered party boat with room for up to 98 passengers. Its open-air upper deck is great for relaxing or viewing the lakeside sunset, while the climate-controlled main deck is perfect for a dinner gathering or wedding reception.
Date Night
Grab a bottle of wine, hop aboard one of these two charters with your special someone, and feel the calm breeze across cool waters on a relaxing daytime cruise at 5:00 PM, a date-night sunset cruise at 7:00 PM, or a moonlight cruise at 9:00 PM. Guests are welcome to bring their own beer/wine/spirits and a picnic basket of food.
Weddings
Scott Self is vested with the authority to perform marriages ‘at sea;’ so guests may choose to reserve the Seawolf for an intimate wedding ceremony and then perhaps switch over to the double-decker Harbor Lights for a post-ceremony reception or after-party.
