From Boomers to Zoomers, today's automotive consumer is typically searching for the ideal balance of visionary development and forward-thinking technology packaged within a well-crafted blend of capable performance features and artfully-executed design aesthetics. Meeting these expectations across a wide range of ever-shifting cultural and generational demands poses an ongoing challenge for any automobile manufacturer, but Honda has undoubtly mastered this task with its newly refreshed 11th generation Civic, which serves as a gateway to the Honda brand. As America's most popular vehicle among the Gen Z buying demographic, currently spanning the teens-to-twenties age bracket, the Civic is available in four trim levels including the base model LX and 2.0L Sport topped by the hybrid-powered Sport Hybrid and top-of-the-line Sport Touring Hybrid.
For a more aggressive driving experience compared to the standard model, the performance-oriented 2025 Honda Civic Si features a more powerful engine with a standard manual transmission, stiffer suspension, larger brakes, and sportier styling, thereby making it the best-equipped and most fun-to-drive Civic Si ever produced. Initially debuting in 1986, the Civic Si has long been a favorite among driving enthusiasts, and the refreshed 2025 model continues that legacy by offering young drivers an affordable four-door performance sedan option that comfortably seats up to five. With its aggressive new front design, enhanced ride dynamics, and a host of new standard features such as heated front seats and Google built-in, the attractive Civic Si caters directly to young buyers who appreciate the total engaging package that it offers.
Performance
Combining spirited driving dynamics with everyday practicality, this turbocharged sedan is equipped with a high-torque VTEC® 1.5-liter Turbo engine delivering 200 horsepower and a lightweight single-mass flywheel giving it a nimble and responsive feel that pairs well with its exclusively standard 6-speed manual transmission. The expanded rev-matching system is now capable of blipping
down to 1st gear, and the smooth short-throw shifter makes cruising through gears suuuper easy breezy which can be especially appealing to those new to manual driving. Enhanced with a stiffer, SICE-compliant body structure and improved suspension, the Civic Si exhibits impressive handling and ride comfort, making it suitable for city commutes and spirited drives alike.
The best only get better at Honda, and this year we're taking Civic to an even higher level with our new 2025 Civic hybrid and now an even more desirable Civic Si. Civic Si is a performance icon in the sport compact segment, and the 2025 Civic Si continues that legacy as the most fun-to-drive Si we've ever offered to our customers.

Styling
On the outside, the Civic Si features a low-slung stance and sleek silhouette enhanced by a gloss-black decklid spoiler and signature 18-inch matte black alloy wheels. A new front fascia with a hex-pattern grille as well as redesigned darker taillights add a contemporary edge, while the panoramic windshield and wide sightlines provide drivers an expansive view of the road. In addition to exterior colors of Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, and Rallye Red, the Civic Si is also now available for the first time in the popular hue of Urban Gray Pearl. Inside, the Civic Si caters to Gen Z's strong preference for dynamic and ample functional spaces. The lightweight, racing-inspired seats come with red-stitched Si
logos on the seatbacks, built-in head restraints, and prominent shoulder and lower thigh side supports crafted to provide both comfort and stability. Standard heated front seats feature three temperature levels, while the one-touch power moonroof allows natural light to fill the cabin with a simple tap, enhancing the open feel of the interior. The very cool-looking honeycomb-patterned dash strip not only adds a pretty awesome visual wow factor
but also pairs well with the red stitching on the doors, steering wheel, and shift boot to create an immersive, performance-inspired ambiance.
Technology
Prioritizing connectivity and seamless integration, the sedan's 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system now includes Google built-in, a first for the Civic Si, allowing users access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and a variety of apps from Google Play, all with a complimentary 3-year unlimited data plan. Google Assistant enables drivers to perform hands-free tasks like making calls, sending texts, or adjusting the temperature, providing an intuitive, voice-controlled interface that keeps eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. The Google-powered platform also supports seamless navigation by letting drivers set destinations with voice commands, which then display directly in the 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, keeping the path forward clear and accessible. The 12-speaker Bose sound system with Centerpoint 2 technology and SurroundStage digital processing delivers fantastic sound quality, while wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility add further connectivity.
Safety
The 2025 Honda Civic Si integrates a comprehensive suite of safety features tailored for both advanced protection and user-friendly technology. The standard Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistive technologies offers peace of mind through enhanced systems like the Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™) which now boasts improved detection for motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Additional safety features such as forward collision warning, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, and a blind spot information system with rear cross traffic alert contribute to an active safeguard environment, while smoother adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist system functionality provide a stress-free drive on longer trips. The Civic Si's Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure, designed for occupant protection in various frontal collisions, is supplemented by innovative airbag systems. The driver's front airbag features a unique donut-shaped structure that helps cradle the head, reducing rotational forces, while the passenger's three-chamber airbag design provides similar protective benefits. Gen Z buyers who prioritize safety will appreciate the attention to detail in features like front seatbelt pretensioners, as well as knee and side-curtain airbags, which all contribute to making the Civic Si a leader in compact-car safety.
The 2025 Honda Civic Si positions itself as a compelling choice for the Gen Z consumer demographic which comprises nearly 30% of the rapidly evolving automotive landscape in the United States. This generation values a well-rounded experience where style, automation, and performance seamlessly coexist; and Honda's investment in technology mirrors the lifestyle of this generation raised in the digital age. Meanwhile, the sporty yet safe design of the Si speaks to Gen Z's preference for individuality with practicality, balancing aggressive styling with an advanced safety suite that meets the demands of young, active drivers. As Honda continues innovating with the 11th-generation Civic, it's clear they're not just meeting the expectations of Gen Z but driving them forward.
The new Civic hybrid is a perfectly-timed addition to the Honda lineup as hybrid-electric sales continue to grow, providing Honda with an important building block toward 100% zero-emissions vehicle sales by 2040. Honda hybrid-electric models represented over one-quarter of our overall brand sales in 2023, and the fun-to-drive Civic hybrid is a fantastic new product at the gateway of our popular electrified lineup along with Accord hybrid, CR-V hybrid and the all-electric Prologue."
