The truck's manageable size and responsive acceleration make easy work of navigating through heavy traffic, while its nimble driving dynamics and feeling of planted stability encourage driver confidence along curving highways as well as rocky hillsides. And with EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 21 mpg in the city, 26 mpg on the highway, and 23 mpg combined, the 2019 Ford Ranger is currently the most fuel-efficient gas-powered midsize pickup in America.

Prioritizing ground clearance to help climb over off-road obstacles, the FX4 Off-Road Package offers an extra boost of trail capability with specially-tuned shocks, all-terrain tires, a frame-mounted heavy-gauge steel front bash plate, frame-mounted skid plates, and FX4 badging. The package also provides an innovative Terrain Management System™ which includes four distinct drive modes which are shiftable on the fly along with Ford's all-new Trail Control™ technology which is like cruise control for the highway but designed for individual-wheel power and braking on low-speed, rugged terrain.
