Novice and experienced outdoor lovers and photographers gather on Galveston Island (one of the top locations for birding in the nation) for four days of excellent birding and nature photography workshops along with adventurous field trips and delightful evening social events. One of the largest birding festivals in Texas (and the only one with a dedicated nature photography track), FeatherFest is held during the avian spring migration which is the best time to visit world-renowned birding hot spots like Bolivar Flats and High Island.
