This largest floral festival in the Southwest is considered to be one of America's best floral festivals as it showcases an explosion of color with impressive landscaping and a dazzling array of more than 100 kinds of spring bulbs including tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, pansies, violas, poppies, and thousands of azaleas that bloom during the end of April.

The annual Mad Hatter's Tea and Luncheon presented by the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is hosted each spring outdoors on the Ginsburg Plaza with a fashion show inside the adjacent Rosine Hall and features a Champagne reception, seated luncheon, glorious springtime azalea displays, and of course, wild and wonderful over-the-top hats.

Pack a picnic and enjoy your favorite concert on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn overlooking scenic White Rock Lake. The Arboretum's concert series incorporates bands from all decades and genres ... The Dallas Arboretum's premier concert series, 'Cool Thursday Concerts,' is back in action. The 2018 Cool Thursdays Concert Series, sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, kicks off on March 29 with fan favorite Dancing Dream, ABBA Tribute Band, sponsored by Bank of Texas. Don't miss the chance to attend Dallas' favorite concert series overlooking the picturesque White Rock Lake on the award-winning Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. These Thursday night performances have a history of selling out, and single tickets go on sale on February 22.


The Dancing Dream tribute band, is one of the best ABBA Tributes since ABBA itself. Formerly known as the ABBA GIRLZ, This New York City based ABBA Tribute Band features beautiful harmonies, elaborate costumes and exciting choreography guaranteed to captivate all audiences, making every show a night to remember. Always very well organized from start to finish, they have been entertaining crowds all over North America since 2009. Dancing Dream's success is great musicianship, energetic personalities and a genuine love for what they do.


In addition to the coolest view of White Rock Lake, attendees can bring picnics and beverages or purchase food items from food trucks including Ruthie's Rolling Cafe, Bellatrino, Rick's BBQ and Bobaddiction. The gardens are also open to stroll through before the concert to enjoy the breathtaking floral displays of Dallas Blooms, named one of the 'South's Best Botanical Gardens,' by Southern Living Magazine. The concert series continues through June 28. Gates open at 6 p.m., and the concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Single tickets start at $10 - $27 and are available for purchase online.
