Review: 2020 Chevrolet Traverse High Country AWD

Now available in FWD and AWD configurations, customers looking to purchase a 2020 Traverse High Country now have more choices for personalized customizations. This year's model of the new sport-utility vehicle also offers a choice between jet black or jet black/loft brown perforated leather-appointed seats. The standard twin-clutch AWD on the High Country trimline is also augmented by 20-inch polished wheels, High Country badging, LED D-Optic bi-function headlamps, and power-fold third row seats. The best-in-class maximum cargo space of 98.2 cubic feet can easily house seating for up to eight occupants, and a power liftgate with hands-free operation is standard for the level. Chevrolet Infotainment 3 with 8-inch-diagonal high-definition color touchscreen and connected Navigation is standard on High Country, as is a Bose premium 10-speaker audio system with subwoofer in the center console.

Industry First

In an industry first, the standard Teen Driver with Buckle to Drive allows parents to set controls and review the driving habits of their teenagers. When Teen Driver mode is activated, this feature helps remind young drivers to be sure and buckle up before setting out to drive as it prevents the vehicle from shifting out of Park for up to 20 seconds if the driver's seat belt remains unfastened.
