Grab your platform shoes and leisure suits?it's time to dance! On March 4 (Saturday), at 7 p.m. Resource Center will host its annual Toast To Life gala, presented by Purple Foundation, to raise monies for the organization's programs and services. Just in time for the 40th anniversary of famed disco nightclub Studio 54, this year's theme is Time To Boogie. Toast To Life will be held at The Empire Room, located at 1225 N. Riverfront Blvd. in Dallas. Tickets are $150 and sponsorships are still available. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (214) 540-4458. Toast To Life 2017 is co-chaired by Steven Atkinson and J'aime Joiner.

This marks the 19th year that Toast To Life will bring together North Texas' LGBT community, our allies and supporters for an evening of food, fun and fundraising all in support of Resource Center, said Cece Cox, Resource Center's CEO. We have much to celebrate, such as the completion of our Capital Campaign, but our service needs continue to grow. We hope the whole community will come out to eat, drink and dance while raising awareness and funds for our future.

Toast To Life Time To Boogie will be emceed by Steve Kemble, America's Sassiest Lifestyle Guru. Guests are encourage to wear disco chic inspired ensembles as they sample tasty dishes from acclaimed Dallas chefs, sip specialty cocktails and boogie oogie oogie the night away to music from famed drag queen DJ Lady Bunny, back by popular demand for her final time to spin at Toast To Life. Attendees can also tour a vast array of fresh and funky auction items ranging from custom art and luxury hotel stays to exotic vacation packages and fine dining gift certificates.
