The Spanish Baroque-styled Music Hall at Fair Park is nestled among the art deco architecture of Fair Park and is home to the Dallas Summer Musicals. DSM (the largest producer of live theatrical entertainment in the Southwest and the second oldest summer theater organization in the United States) has been entertaining North Texas audiences with live, musical theater entertainment since 1941 by presenting national Broadway tours as well as local productions.

IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, is coming to North Texas this holiday season. The critically-acclaimed musical will play at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth November 14-19, 2017 as part of Performing Arts Fort Worth's Broadway at the Bass series. This family holiday favorite will roll back into Dallas, where it will play at the Music Hall at Fair Park December 5-10, 2017 presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.


IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the bargain. Full of dancing, romance, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, Happy Holiday, Sisters, Blue Skies, and the unforgettable title song, IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family!


The New York Times exclaims this cozy trip down memory lane should be put on your wish list. And, the New York Daily News hailed the show as a holiday card come to life.

Tony Award-winning actress Karen Ziemba, currently on Broadway in PRINCE OF BROADWAY, has been cast in the role of Martha Watson. She will be joined by Sean Montgomery as Bob Wallace, Jeremy Benton as Phil Davis, Kerry Conte as Betty Haynes and Kelly Sheehan as Judy Haynes.


The cast also includes Conrad John Schuck as General Waverly, Gil Brady as Ralph Sheldrake, Aaron Galligan-Stierle as Mike Nulty, Cliff Bemis as Ezekiel Foster, and Makayla Joy Connolly and Bella Yantis as Susan Waverly.


The ensemble includes Arlington, Texas native Sarah Fagan, along with Kelly Black, Stephanie Brooks, Darien Crago, Laurie DiFilippo, Drew Humphrey, Bryan Thomas Hunt, Matthew J. Kilgore, Brianna Latrash, Ann-Ngaire Martin, Danny McHugh, Chris McNiff, Bryan Charles Moore, Kristyn Pope, Sean Quinn and Chelsea Williams.


IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS features Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin with Book by David Ives and Paul Blake and is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank.


This production of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS is produced by Work Light Productions. The creative team includes direction and choreography by Randy Skinner, scenic design by Anna Louizos, scenic supervision and adaptation by Kenneth Foy, lighting design by Ken Billington, and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and Erich Bechtel. The tour is produced by agreement with R&H Theatricals, an Imagem Company.

Dining


A buffet is served before each performance (priced at about $21.95 - $29.95, subject to change, and not included with your show ticket). Reservations are recommended, but not required; call 214-413-3940. Dining at the Music Hall opens two hours before performances. Lighter fare is available at the bistro and is more moderate in cost. Bars are set up in the lobby areas, and drinks are allowed into the theatre at the discretion of the presenter. Currently food may not be taken into the theatre.


Dress


Music Hall patrons are usually clothed in a wide range of outfits including business suits, business casual attire, dressy dresses, short summer dresses, as well as jeans. Dress does tend to 'spiff' up during the holiday season, however.


Getting There


For the majority of the year, parking is available without an additional charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Enter the Fairgrounds at Grand Avenue or as directed by parking attendants. Should you instead choose to ride the rail, the DART green line drops passengers off right at the front gate of Fair Park. Just hop off the train at the Fair Park station, walk through the gate, and veer to the right. The Music Hall is right there within very short walking distance (even if you are dressed up or in high heels). See additional parking information, directions, and Fair Park map.
