Turner Falls Park

Arbuckle Mountains
I-35 & US Highway 77
Davis, Oklahoma 73030
580-369-2988

Nestled in midst of the Arbuckle Mountains, the cold and refreshing Honey Creek stream winds its way through a picturesque landscape before plunging 77 feet down into a natural swimming pool and wading area at the base of the largest waterfall in Oklahoma. This major point of interest lies within the surrounding 1500-acre park which features explorable nature trails, tranquil picnic areas, cave formations, and the remnants of Dr. Collings' Rock Castle that was built on the property in 1930.

Turner Falls Park is Home to the Largest Waterfall in Oklahoma | Information | USA

5 Things to Bring:

Picnic and water
Cash for snow cones
Sturdy lawn chair
Dry set of clothes
Water shoes

Twelve modest non-smoking cabins situated on the grounds can accommodate up to four people each, while a range of primitive camping locations allow guests to pitch a tent under the stars twinkling above in the cool night sky. The park is stocked with trout at the end of November, so some of the best fishing in Oklahoma occurs during the subsequent winter months when avid fishermen may keep up to five fish per day.

Visitors can also shop at the onsite general store or grab a bite to eat like a hamburger or snow cone at one of the park's several concession facilities such as The Main Grill, the Trading Post, or Julie's Snowballs. As the oldest park in Oklahoma, Turner Falls draws thousands of leisure-seekers each year as do many of the neighboring attractions including the Artesian Hotel, Casino, and Spa, Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum, Frank Buck Zoo, Arbuckle Mountain Wind Farm, and Tucker Tower at Lake Murray State Park along with the Curio Shop's scenic overlook at 6250 Hwy 77 South and the 777Zip zipline adventure where riders are encouraged to mount up with wings as eagles.
